The Institute for Intercultural Studies

CONTRIBUTIONS AND DONATIONS

The IIS welcomes your donations, large or small, to the IIS. These will support the full range of IIS activities, including research in contemporary cultures, preservation of the Mead/Bateson Archives, and a focus on the changing cultural definition of life stages, with special emphasis on adolescents and older adults.

Our flexibility in making grants targeted to intercultural relations depends on our maintaining a substantial level of public support, as required by federal tax law - without this we would become a "private foundation," much more limited in our functioning. Only a fraction of our outlay comes from annual donations, but these donations preserve our flexibility and encourage the members of the board to donate their time and imagination.

Please print our PDF form, fill in and mail with your contribution to the address below.

We also now have online donation capability through the New York Charities website, which allows secure contributions to via credit card.

We thank you for your support of the work of the Institute.
